The Best Face Wipes We’ve Tried Thus Far

We’ve tried a lot of wipes and arguably there’s no better time to do so: late spring means hot weather, more sweat, and more grease. It also means more travel, particularly since the world is opening up again. Now is the perfect time to find the right wipe which can serve you well, whether you need to clean your face after a workout at the gym (those are opening we hear), back at the office (those are apparently now opening too), or when you reach your travel destination (travel is possible!). We tried Salt + Stone’s Cleansing Facial Wipes, and from the moment we saw them we were eager to try them out: the beautiful off-white packaging and minimal branding exudes zen. These wipes are made of biodegradable bamboo viscose and free of chemicals or synthetic fragrance. What they do smell like is lavender which comes from the lavender oil used for its antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. There’s also aloe leaf extract which is moisturizing and contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and is highly anti-inflammatory. Unlike the other wipes we’ve tried, this one doesn’t have a textured and smooth side - rather, both sides feel like a luxe moist towelette. It’s super thick (enough to get the grime off your face without ripping or tearing) while also smelling great. At roughly $1.20/wipe, trust us when we say it’s a cost you won’t even think of when you really need a wipe and pull out this miniature spa-like experience.
