But Have You Shaved With A No Lather Shaving Cream?

Shaving is something many guys do every day and for guys with sensitive skin, it can be torture. We tried Vitaman’s Natural Shaving Cream which promises to deeply moisturize your skin pre-shave to soften your face and stubble and calm inflammation. As we squeezed it onto your finger tips, we were already unimpressed: it smells like something your grandmother would wear and has has the consistency of the pink hand soap you find in a public restroom. That being said, it is low lather unlike the shaving foams you find in a can, so it helps in seeing which areas need to be shaved. The thick gel also did make dragging a razor across our face quite easy. Other benefits include that it contains soothing aloe vera and repairing coconut oil (after shaving we noticed our skin felt moisturized and dewy) rather than propane or alcohol, and that there are no artificial fragrances. This pH balanced formula uses white tea instead of water as a base which gives it its anti-inflammatory properties, as well as Vitamin E which helps to soften your face and stubble. Vitaman has a lot of good intentions, but unfortunately it doesn’t think about its texture, scent, or even packaging for that matter. It’s the delivery where it falls short, even if the product itself may be doing its job. This is a pass for us.
