Did Huron Produce a Triple Hitter?

Huron is the only brand we’ve reviewed on this site where every product we’ve tried we’ve ending up loving. So we were definitely expecting greatness from their conditioner (you can check out our other reviews here and here). The conditioner is obviously a complement to their shampoo, though we tried it by itself aka what’s referred to as cowashing (short for for conditioner-washing when your conditioner stands in for shampoo skipping the first step altogether) and we’ve gotta say that it holds its own in both situations. This gloppy goodness feels more like a hair mask than most other conditioners we’ve tried and smells like the shampoo and body wash - citrus-y and of juniper and fresh greens. Like most conditioners (good ones anyway), it helps hair prone to dullness, dryness, breakage and frizz, but what really gives it a leg up is that it helps to seal in moisture with nourishing oils to repair and restore shine with its wheat protein - which penetrates the hair to repair damage as it thickens and adds volume - and its biotin, which helps increase elasticity and strength. It’s also got argan oil and shea butter, both of which are can be found in standalone hair masks and oils - see here and here - and pantheon which improves hair’s elasticity, moisture retention, and flexibility. It coated our hair nicely and stayed in as we stood there and relaxed, and when it came time to rinsen came out fairly easily. It would be nice if that quintessential Huron scent was a bit more present post wash (if Herbal Essence got anything right it’s their damn Bath & Body Works-like scents and ear worm commercials), but overall Huron clearly paid attention to its packaging and its product which is a rare combo to find. We highly recommend this (and their shampoo and body wash).
