Be Fearless, Try Women’s Fragrances

We aren’t big fans of her ditzy persona, but Rachel Zoe does do great fragrances. And home goods. But we’re here to talk about her fragrance Fearless which, yes, is marketed to females but we’ve gotta say is the first we’ve tried that really does feel like there could be crossover appeal.

You can basically ignore its topknots (verbena, cassis, mandarin orange) because we got none of that. Instead what stands out is its heart note of coconut and base notes of vanilla and amber. This is a very sweet fragrance that coats the air around its wearer: if you’ve ever smelled caramelized sugar cooking, that’s how sticky we smelled and we’ve got to say that we liked it. The fact that it’s an accessibly-priced eau du parfum and can achieve this is impressive.

Coconut is divisive and this isn’t going to be for everyone, but this also doesn’t smell like your sun tan lotion: this smells like sweetened coconut milk. It’s impossible not to imagine wearing this with a couple buttons undone on a rooftop of with a cool bar/pool. This is a buy for us.
