A Mask for Your Hair?
These days, face masks have taken on a whole new meaning as we tend to thin of the N95 type. But in the days before COVID, our mind went to a different place, those sheet masks all over Instagram and YouTube perfected by K-Beauty (that’s Korean skincare for those in the know). Face masks are great for a whole slew of skin issues, but did you know there are also masks for your hair?

The consistency of Greek yogurt, this creamy good stuff comes in a tub. After shampooing, take two fingers and scoop out a spoonful then massage it into your hair. Like a traditional conditioner, it doesn’t foam up but rather sits, which is great for taking a moment in the shower to relax (pro tip: hang dried eucalyptus from the shower head for some aromatherapy).
This is great for guys who have coarse hair, which simply means that it retains the cuticle and thus makes it harder for moisture to penetrate the hair shaft. Because of that, hair can feel dry and not as fine as those with a different types of hair. By intensely hydrating the hair and sealing in moisture, we found our hair starting to feel silkier within a few washes. If we’re pressed for time, we’ll use the OGX’s Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Hair Oil Treatment after we get out of the shower.
