This Soap Just Replaced Our Old Spice Body Wash

We’ve used Old Spice body wash, like, forever. The brand has innumerable scents for its body washes and deodorants and it does them rather well. It was also hard to argue that soap bars were pleasant to use - they can slip out of your hand if they were too big, or when sitting on your shower shelf either dry out and crack or sit until your next shower in with a mushy bottom. Body washes are practical and, to be fair, we hadn’t really seen a good bar soap anyway until we tried Anthony’s Exfoliating + Cleansing Bar. This soap is designed to clean, remove excess oil, and exfoliate with a formulation of jojoba, shea butter, squalane, coconut, cucumber and grapefruit essence. While the joboba spheres were too few to actually feel like we were getting a good scrub, the rest of the soap’s composition made it easy to look over, namely that the shea butter, squalene and coconut oil leaving your moisturized as well as after any Dove bar’s use. After we dried off, our super soft skin was left smelling ever so lightly of cucumber (a direct contrast to Old Spice’s aggressive musk). This is one of the best things we’ve tried this year.
