Can Plant-based Be Yummy?

Late summer can still having you reaching for a tasty treat to keep cool - an ice cream or milkshake getting in the way of staying healthy. But what if we told you could you have your cake and eat it too? Founder Cindy Kasindorf created Remedy Organics, a line of 100% plant-based protein beverages using superfoods, ayurvedics, botanical herbs, and prebiotics; each wellness shake can function as a meal replacement, pre or post-workout beverage, or nutrient dense snack. We tried its Matcha Oxidants, a wonderfully creamy drink that tastes of earthy Japanese matcha and notes of sweet vanilla. Made with almonds for heart health, matcha for antioxidants, maca for energy, spirulina for immune support, turmeric for inflammation support, prebiotics for gut health. and protein for muscle recovery. We loved that it wasn’t sweet but satisfying and left us full but not cheeseburger-and-fries-full. This will be a nice mid-day snack or occasionally swap out our breakfast shake with. This is a definite buy.
