The Shaving Gel That Makes Barbasol Look Like A Luxury Good
We’ve tried quite a few things from Vitaman and none of them have really cut muster, so we’re a little perplexed as to how this shaving gel from Vitaman won a GQ Grooming Award. This is another clear gel that doesn’t foam up when applied with the idea that you can see what you’re shaving if you have some facial hair you’d actually like to keep. Any time we’ve tried a gel, it’s been weird (like slathering hand sanitizer onto your face). Vitaman’s Shave Gel has a combination of plant ingredients such as aloe vera leaf juice to keep your skin feeling cool, vitamin E, eucalyptus oil, and other botanicals sourced from the Australian Outback. We liked how Vitaman uses an anti-oxidant rich white tea as a base ingredient instead of plain water, its pH balanced formal, and that there’s no alcohol or propane. What we didn’t like was the lack of fragrance (though that’s a necessity for some with sensitive skin) and, well, everything else. It’s a pass.
