The Gentle K-beauty Product For Brighter Skin

Brighter skin is something that a lot of people seemingly yearn for these days, especially in the age of social media and better cameras. But particularly for those prone to hyperpigmentation, at-home treatments instead of going under a laser or microdermabrasion are particularly useful if you don’t have a lot of money to shell out for these pricey treatments that often require more than one visit. We came across Neogen’s Real Niacinamide, a triple function serum containing 15% Niacinamide, Ferulic Acid and Alpha-bisalol which do triple duty to brighten skin, lighten pigmentations, and control sebum production for a blemish and pimple-free skin.

For a little insight into what these ingredients actually do to fight the creation of dark spots, we’ve got you covered. Niacinamide actually helps prevent blemishes from appearing on the surface of the skin by blocking the transfer of melanin from the pigment-forming melanocytes. It also tightens pores smoothens skin texture. The Ferulic Acid protects your skin from active oxygen that stimulates melanocytes while suppressing the production of melanin pigments. And its Alpha-bisabolol, a powerful whitening ingredient, lightens blemishes and hyperpigmentation.

Needless to say, it’s got the good stuff to help block hyperpigmentation rather than treating dark spots well after they’ve formed. It’s also super simple to incorporate into your daily routine - after washing your face and using toner, apply to your skin. That’s it. One thing to note is that this stuff feels and looks like Cetaphil’s gentle skin cleanser but dries somewhat tacky, so we like to put this on at night. Another thing it has in common with Cetaphil’s gentle skin cleanser? It’s easy on the skin. With an average patch test reaction score of 0.00, this serum is certified as a non-irritant. We would definitely recommend this as we especially like its properties as a preventative.
