The Filter For Your Teeth

Straight, white teeth is something all of us want and spend a lot of money to attain. There’s nothing worse than whitening your teeth in your photos only to show up IRL with a stained smile. Whitening toothpaste has been around forever, but that takes a lot of time. Strips and trays also exist, but those can cause a burning sensation on your gums. So we were surprised and intrigued to learn about this little under-advertised wonder - Colgate’s Optic White Overnight pen. This guy looks and feels sleek, like something an engineer in the 60’s would carry in his short sleeve oxford’s breast pocket. Boasting the ability to remove 15 years of stains in one week, each pen has 35 nightly treatments. And for those of us who remember heeding our dentists’ warning about enamel damage, this is an enamel safe formula designed for zero sensitivity during the entire process. It’s super easy to use - brush your teeth before bed and then dry them like you would at a dentist’s office before you get fluoride (we used a humble paper towel). Then click the pen a few times to get the gel flowing and brush it onto your teeth. When you wake up in the morning, you can brush it away like you would normally as you get ready for your day. We love multiple things about this pen - the fact that it’s an actual pen and not a flimsy strip that moves around as you sit there waiting for it to work, that fact that it didn’t burn or leave our teeth sensitive, but, most importantly, we loved that we could target areas that we wanted extra white. For us, that was along the sides and gum line (another reason to stick to silicone straws when drinking tea or coffee), something a tray or strip just isn’t able to do. This is a no-brainer. Go buy this NOW.
