Can You Condition and Style Your Hair at the Same Time?

Guys have a few options when it comes to styling their hair - gel, pomade, or mousse. And depending on your hair type, hold need, or desired texture, each have their own benefits. Yet some products like a gel can dry out your hair, particularly if you’re also layering on some heat with a blow dryer. That’s why we were excited to find Paul Mitchell’s Tea Tree Hair and Body Moisturizer Leave-In Conditioner.

The chrysoprase-colored cream feels like a thick and creamy lotion and smells like eucalyptus and mint: rubbing it between your hands only intensifies that invigorating scent. We like to put this on fresh out of the shower when our hair is still damp. Depending on the way you want to look, you can treat it like a gel and run a comb through your hair or loosely style it with your fingers. While it doesn’t have the holding power of a gel or even pomade, your hair will still be held in loosely place. We actually think it’s a better alternative for when you want do want your hair to look natural, particularly since when it dries and you run your hands through it, your hair falls back to its natural state (meaning it doesn’t look like it has any product in it) without it feeling dry, crunchy, or with any of the white flakes that a stickier product leaves. The other way we wear it? To bed of course. Since it is a leave-in conditioner, whether you wear it during the day or night, your hair is getting treated (and will smell amazing, something that most hold products don’t do).
