Did Huron Make A Good Shampoo Too?

After we tried Huron’s body wash, we were sold. So it wasn’t hard for us to actually want to try their shampoo which was, truthfully, not much different than their body wash. That same thick, pearlescent formula is found here which we absolutely love because it sticks to your mane, allowing you to work it into a rich lather. A little goes a long way, which is great on your wallet, but even a dime size amount results in a lot of suds and a nice, even coat across your whole head. We imagine this is due to the sodium cocoyl isethionate which is a mild, sulfate-free surfactant derived from coconuts. Other standout ingredients:

  • Glycerin - a

plant derived humectant that helps bind and balance moisture and restore hair’s smoothness

  • Argan Oil - a

n oil rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E to hydrate, soften and restore shine to dull hair

  • Vitamin E - a

n antioxidant that fights free radical damage and strengthens to prevent moisture loss

  • Panthenol - a

humectant, known as Pro-vitamin B5, that improves hair’s elasticity, moisture retention and flexibility.

We came out of the shower with our hair feeling exceptionally clean without feeling stripped. Very few products make us feel like we hit the reset button on parts of our bodies but this is definitely one of them. Oh and in case you’re wondering, that same feeling of cooling menthol and the scent of citrus and juniper found in their body wash is in their shampoo too. Skip the V05 or even the generic shampoo. This is a daily little (accessible) luxury we happily recommend.
